Republic of Ireland have turned a narrow contest at Gibraltar (0-1) their way with a single goal from Jeffrey Hendrick and now host Georgia for their Tuesday’s clash hoping to build on their performance and make it two out of two in EURO 2020 Qualifiers.

Boys in Green have thus only ended a six-match winless streak across competitions and with struggles to create chances and convert them, Mick McCarthy will surely hope his men can now produce in front of the crowd at Aviva Stadium. They’ve failed to find the net in last three occasions here, though, and this could be more worrying.

Georgia will be no easy target either and they travel to Dublin with a rather narrow 0-2 loss to Switzerland behind them, where they showed off as a tough side defensively but also had their chances. They will now look for more looking to boost their chances at a top 2 spot and promise another solid challenge here.
