Reims vs PSG Match Preview

PSG travel to Reims on the final day of the campaign after rediscovering their fine form in wins over Angers (1-2) and Dijon (4-0) over the past two weeks, ending a three-match winless streak and now looking to end the campaign on a positive note in a clash against very unpredictable rivals.

Parisians have shocked Dijon early in front of the home fans and goals from Di Maria, Cavani, and Mbappe put it beyond doubt in the first half already. Thomas Tuchel will want more of the same from his men but it feels they’ve struggled to impress defensively on the road.

Reims have, on the other hand, beaten Bordeaux (0-1) last week and returned to the winning ways after seven games without one. They’ve struggled to retain such defensive consistency and this has been obvious in their losses to Nimes (0-3) and Caen (3-2) where they conceded a total of six goals.

Les Rouge et Blanc have proven themselves a tougher side to beat at Stade Auguste-Delaune II on many occasions, including two draws in the last two head-to-head clashes against PSG here – where they held the dominant rivals to draws.

We do feel Reims will be no sitting ducks now either but PSG should have what it takes to secure the points, as we now stick with an Away win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 6/4 with bet365.
