Real Valladolid vs Sevilla Match Preview
Real Valladolid sit in the immediate danger zone with a very unpredictable spell of form through most part of the campaign and just two wins in 17 outings across competitions since mid-December. They host Sevilla on Sunday with very solid head-to-head records at this ground and hope for an upset in search of all-important points at Jose Zorrilla.
Pucela have earned just two points in their four outings here since early February, as they held off Villarreal (0-0) and Sociedad (1-1) but suffered comfortable losses to Betis (0-2) and Real Madrid (1-4) along the way. Sergio will now want more in need of points to create a gap behind themselves but it’s a tough task looming.
Sevilla have largely struggled for consistency but still sit 6th after earning six points in last three league outings, with just a narrow yet very disappointing 0-1 loss to Valencia seen along the way. They’ve struggled to impress on the road and could have a hard time building on a 0-1 win at Espanyol here.
Sevillistas have seen Villarreal (3-0) and Huesca (2-1) secure the home points and Slavia Prague make their way to the next stage of Europa League with a 4-3 thriller at Sinobo Stadium. They’ve been scoring goals on the regular and this should have them very motivated in search of points once again.
We will now stick our necks out for Valladolid to hold off the tough rivals, though, as they build on their unbeaten head-to-head records against Sevilla here – with a Draw priced at 5/2 with William Hill.
Indeed, Sevilla have struggled to snatch points at this ground over the past couple of years and we’re now hoping for more of the same. However, we’ve seen them scoring numbers of goals and Valladolid will have to cope if they’re to earn a point – as we now also go for a Yes on Both teams to score at 8/11 with William Hill.
