After being denied all three points at Butarque earlier this term only with a very late equalizer by Nabil El Zhar, Real Sociedad host chasers Leganes for their Matchday 24 clash in hope they can do more in front of the home fans and capitalize on goals scored this time around.

Imanol Alguacil’s men come into the match on the back of a goalless draw earned at Valencia and an eight-match unbeaten streak across competitions, where they beat Espanyol (3-2), Athletic Bilbao (2-1) and held off both Betis (2-2) and Huesca (0-0) with a total of 12 goals scored. La Real thus still have a top 6 spot under their noses and will now want to show they’re worth it.

Leganes, on the other hand, caught up with the rivals with exciting wins over Rayo Vallecano (1-2) and Real Betis (3-0). They’ve kept a high-scoring record over the past month and Mauricio Pellegrino shouldn’t have a hard time lifting their team spirits ahead of the trip to Anoeta either.

Lega have struggled for points on the road, though, and fact the win at Rayo only ended a streak of three consecutive losses should be more worrying – as they saw Espanyol (1-0) as well as Barcelona (3-1) bag the points and Real Madrid (3-0) earn an advantage which later saw them out of Copa del Rey.

We now don’t see the visitors shaking off such a feeling yet and we’ll now stick with Real Sociedad to bag all three points, backing an all-important Home win at 21/20 with Betway. We’ve seen them rock-solid at home ground and we should now be in for more of the same.
