Real Madrid vs Osasuna Match Preview
Real Madrid beat Sevilla (0-1) with a single goal from Karim Benzema over the weekend and now host Osasuna for their Matchday 6 clash in good spirits, hoping to build on two consecutive La Liga wins and challenge Athletic Bilbao at the top – now sitting behind only for their goal difference.
Los Blancos have seen a disappointing 3-0 Champions League loss at Paris Saint-Germain beforehand and Zinedine Zidane has things to be happy about. They have struggled for consistency early on and this could be even more worrying, but still promises them very motivated to impress in front of the home fans.
Alongside Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao, Osasuna are one of only three sides not to have suffered a loss this term and they travel to Santiago Bernabeu with great hopes. They’ve proven themselves a tough nut to crack on more than one occasion but still have a lot to prove in Madrid.
Los Rojillos have opened the campaign with a win over Leganes (0-1) and earned four consecutive draws since, including home draws against Eibar (0-0), Barcelona (2-2), Betis (0-0) and a 1-1 draw at Valladolid. They will now hope to keep it up and snatching any points here would surely be a success.
However, we don’t see them doing so and we’ll now rather back the home side to bag all three points in an exciting contest, going for a Home win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 33/20 with Coral – which seems like great value seeing Real’s records early in the season.
With that in mind, we expect goals at Santiago Bernabeu once again and we’re going for Over 3.5 Goals FT, which comes at 11/10 with William Hill and looks like a very solid approach to the Wednesday’s fixture by itself.
