Real Madrid vs Levante Match Preview
Real Madrid have seen quite a disappointing spell of form ahead of the International break and they now return to La Liga looking to return to the winning ways after two consecutive draws, as they host Levante for their Matchday 4 clash on Saturday with five points to their name.
Los Blancos opened the campaign with an exciting win at Celta Vigo (1-3) as they put an underwhelming pre-season behind them, but Zinedine Zidane’s men saw criticism once again – as they were held off by Real Valladolid (1-1) and Villarreal (2-2). Eden Hazard could now finally make his competitive debut and while Bale, Isco, and Rodrygo sit sidelined, it will be very interesting to see how much of an impact the Belgian mage makes.
Levante come into the match in a better mood with a two-match winning streak behind them, where they beat both Villarreal (2-1) and Real Valladolid (2-0) in front of the home fans. They’ve been no strangers to it but causing an upset at Santiago Bernabeu should still prove more of a challenge for Paco Lopez’ men.
Granotas have seen a 1-0 loss at Deportivo Alaves on their only trip this term, which points towards the inconsistency on the road we’ve witnessed through most part of the last season. With that in mind, we feel they could have trouble in Madrid and we don’t really see them snatching any points on the day.
Real Madrid have been denied points in three consecutive head-to-head clashes before beating Levante in late February but we do see them overcoming the challenge this time around too, as we stick our necks out for a Home win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 13/10 with Coral.
With that in mind, it’s easy to make a case for a high-scoring occasion. However, we also have a slim winning margin in mind as we stick our necks out for Under 3.5 Goals FT at Evens with bet365 – hoping to see Levante keep their heads in the game on Saturday.
