Real Betis vs Atletico Madrid Match Preview
Atletico Madrid have bounced back from a disappointing Copa del Rey exit on away goals to Girona (4-4 on aggregate) and travel to Seville for their Matchday 22 La Liga clash on the back of confident wins earned over Huesca (0-3) and Getafe (2-0).
Atleti have thus rediscovered their stability at the back and in-form attacking line saw goals coming from all directions, as they kept the gap to pace-setters Barcelona at five points. They will now be desperate to keep up their winning streak and Diego Simeone can only ask for more of the same.
Real Betis come into the match on a high too, though, after beating Espanyol (3-1) in extra-time of their Copa del Rey clash on Wednesday. They’ve been more unpredictable and failed to connect any two same results since early December and wins over Racing Santander (4-0) and Rayo Vallecano (2-0).
Beticos have been a very tough nut to crack here and base such an approach on an attacking philosophy, where they netted six in last two outings here – beating Girona (3-2) beforehand too. They will now want to keep it up but pulling Atleti apart and outgunning them will be no easy task.
We feel Atletico Madrid have what it takes to snatch the points and we’ll now back them to connect their third win in a row at 11/10 with Betway, which feels like a great value seeing their performances over the past two weeks.
However, Betis will have plans of their own and we feel they’ll be very motivated to keep up their streak in the final third. With that in mind, we feel we should see goals on both ends and going for Over 2.5 Goals FT looks like a solid approach at 13/10 with Grosvenor too!
