Reading vs Preston Match Preview
Reading went into the international break in 21stplace just one spot and spot above the relegation zone. They are among five sides separated just by five points and battling not to finish in 22ndwith Ipswich likely gone and Bolton facing a real battle to stay up.
At the Madejski, the Royals have lost just one of their last six which came in their previous home tie against Leeds. Three of their last four at their own place has seen both teams find the back of the net-
Preston are sat in seventh place going into the weekend and have won their last three and lost none of their previous 12. Daniel Johnson has two in his last four while Sean Maguire has two in five.
Away from Deepdale, North-End are flying having won each of their last six which includes wins at Stoke and Middlesbrough. They could do themselves a favour by keeping all 11 players having had a man dismissed in each of their last two on the road
I like Preston to win here as they have done a good job on their travels against teams in the bottom-half of the table. Reading have done well at home but most of these results have come against strugglers. Backing North-End to win the fixture looks the way to go.
I think this could be an entertaining game as both sides have options going forward so backing the road team to come out on top and both teams to score also appeals.
