Reading received a massive boost in their survival hopes as they came from 2-1 down in the 89th minute to beat Wigan 3-2. The win moved them into 19th spot and three places and three points above the relegation places.

At the Madejski Stadium, the Royals are unbeaten in their last five having won three of these matches. John Swift is in good goalscoring form in front of his own fans having netted three in the last five.
