Reading vs Blackburn Match Preview
Reading made it back-to-back losses with a 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough though the expected goals data indicates they were unlucky to do so. They sit 16th at the moment though the expected goals data has them four points better off.
At Madejski Stadium, the Royals need to improve having lost two of their three played here already going down to defeats to Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday though they have beaten Cardiff. Their three matches have produced nine goals with the Berkshire outfit netting four of them.
Blackburn got back to winning ways last weekend with a 2-0 defeat of Millwall thanks to a goal each from Derrick Williams and Bradley Dack. The result moves Rovers into 12th with ten points though expected goals data has them six places and three points lower.
Away from Ewood Park, Rovers have suffered defeats at Fulham and West Brom but between those games defeated Hull. In two of their three on their travels in the Championship the Lancashire outfit have netted the opener.
It is hard to argue with the prices on offer which make the hosts favourites but reflect that there is little to choose between these sides. A better bet is to look at the player markets and take a couple of players to score at any time. George Puscas has two in his last two home starts and gets the nod here while for the visitors Bradley Dack has two in his last two and looks capable of netting here.
