Reading vs Birmingham Match Preview
Reading made it three victories from five and put a two-game losing run behind them last time out with a 3-1 road success at Wigan. George Puscas grabbed a hat-trick in that fixture to bring his tally for the season to six goals.
At the Madejski Stadium, the Royals last time to Leeds but before that had won three straight Championship matches. The last eight goals the Berkshire outfit have scored in front of their own fans have all come from different players.
Birmingham have now drawn three successive matches and all of them have finished in the exact same 1-1 scoreline. It means the second city outfit have now gone five without a victory and going into this round of games sat 15th.
Away from St Andrew’s, the Blues are six without a victory and have taken maximum points in just one of their last nine. On just two occassions this season have they managed to keep a clean sheet when on their travels.
It is hard to argue with the prices on offer here in the match and as such it is better to look elsewhere for the value. I like the look of a couple of anytime goalscorer plays here with for the hosts Yakou Meite appealing as he grabbed two goals against Birmingham last season. For the visitors, Jake Clarke-Salter was a little unlucky not to score last time out and I think at those odds looks value to net here.
