Rangers host Dundee for their Matchday 28 clash on the back of two convincing displays in wins over Kilmarnock (5-0 in FA Cup) and Hamilton Academical (0-5 in Premiership), looking to build on them and close the eight-point gap to the pace-setters Celtic.

Gers have based their success across competitions on rock-solid displays at Ibrox and Steven Gerrard will now want to keep it up, which promises a very motivated outfit led by in-form Alfredo Morelos – who netted four last time out here. Indeed, they’ve impressed up front and denying them the points will be a very tough task.

Dundee have been solid on the road lately and beat both Hearts (1-2) and Livingston (1-2) in their last three league trips, only holding Hamilton (1-1) to a draw along the way. However, the exciting home loss to Hibernian (2-4) most recently will be no confidence booster as Jim McIntyre’s men head into even more of a challenge.

Dee have been scoring goals on the regular and will want to show off once again, but Gers’ defensive line has been working perfectly lately and it’s tough to make a case for them to base an upset on it – despite finding the net in all of their last four outings in an unpredictable run since early February.

We will still back Rangers to an exciting win and backing them to win & Over 2.5 Goals FT feels like a banker beta at 8/13 with Coral, as they saw three or more goals in all of their last seven wins across competitions.
