QPR vs West Brom Match Preview
QPR were last in league action last Tuesday where they lost 2-1 at Bristol City to suffer a fifth straight league defeat. Matt Smith had put them ahead with his fourth goal in his last four but they still lost as they did in the FA Cup on Friday night going down 1-0 against Watford.
At Loftus Road, the Rs are without a league win in three matches and have lost their two previous. Six of their last seven league matches at their own place have gone over 2.5 goals with four going over 3.5.
West Brom made it seven points from their last three fixtures with a 2-0 road success at Aston Villa on Saturday. Hal Robson-Kanu and Jay Rodriguez netted a goal each to allow them to keep pace with the top three and they sit four behind Leeds in third.
Away from the Hawthorns, the Baggies have won each of their last three keeping a clean sheet in each of these. Jay Rodriguez has found the back of the net in three of his last four on the road.
Three straight road victories and six from their last seven including at Villa Park last time out suggest Albion are doing great work on the road. The Rs meanwhile are struggling at home and will likely still be smarting from a loss to Watford in the FA Cup and as such backing an away win looks the call.
The last three West Brom victories on their travels have seen them keep a clean sheet and this happened in four of their last five. The London side blanked against Watford on Friday and might struggle to net here and at thee prices look worth taking on.
