QPR vs Swansea Match Preview
Swansea have been very confident through their pre-season and the same could be said about them early in the new campaign, as they bagged seven points in three rather exciting Championship outings and made their way past Northampton (3-1) in League Cup along the way.
Swans have beaten Hull (2-1) and Preston (3-2) in front of the home crowd and held Derby to a goalless draw along the way, which gives them a lot to prove in London as well. They have seen a disappointing finish last term mainly for their struggles on the road and Steve Cooper will now want more from his men.
Queens Park Rangers have kicked it off rather well too but they’ve now seen their three-match unbeaten streak ended by Bristol (2-0) and bouncing back could prove a tough task. They’ve edged past Robins in League Cup just days before, seeing a thriller 3-3 draw and turning it their way on penalties as Famara Diedhiou missed his take and Liam Kelly saved two.
QPR beat Stoke (1-2) and held Huddersfield to a 1-1 draw beforehand as well, but it feels Swans should be more of a task for Mark Warburton and his men. They’ve struggled for comfortable displays at home ground for months and impressing early in the new campaign will be just as tough we feel.
One of the rare comfortable wins came against Swansea back in April but we don’t see them outclassing the rivals this time around, as we go for the visitors to leave unbeaten with a Double Chance – Draw or Away win priced at 1/2 with bet365.
Although we’ve seen goals on both ends lately, we now hope for a narrow contest and both sides will want to keep it together at the back early on. With that in mind, we’re now also sticking our necks out for Under 2.5 Goals FT at 10/11 with bet365, which has also caught the eye of many.
