QPR vs Swansea Match Preview
QPR picked up an important point in midweek as they battled out a goalless draw at Millwall though it stretches their winless run to seven. They are on 45 points which has them 18th and six points above the bottom three. While it seems unlikely that the teams above them will catch they will want to get a few more points on board to be sure of their safety.
At Loftus Road, the Rs have won just one of their last eight fixtures and have suffered home defeats to Rotherham and Bolton. Five of the last seven at this ground have seen both teams score and gone over 2.5 goals. The London outfit have not netted a first-half goal in any of their last four at this ground and in just two of the last eight.
Swansea made it three straight victories in midweek with a 3-1 success over Stoke in a game that saw the visitors have two men dismissed. The Welsh outfit have moved into 13th and will be targetting a top-half finish to end an up and down season. They have a decent run-in with just two of their last five against top 12 opponents and none against a side in the top six.
Away from the Liberty Stadium, the Swans have struggled losing each of their last six and going winless in seven. They have found the back of the net just three times in their lost four on the road though each of their last seven on the road have been against a top-half side. Five of the last six they have conceded on the road have come in the second-half.
The visitors are not playing for anything but pride and they have struggled on the road of late but we still think they merit a bet here. QPR are a mess at the moment while Graham Potter is a smart manager who should push the Welsh side on further next season.
Nathan Dyer had five shots in midweek two of which were on target and the Swansea wide man seems full of confidence at the moment and I like him here to score at anytime. He grabbed a brace a few weeks ago and seems to be on the verge of another goal soon.
