QPR stretched their unbeaten run to six last time out with a 3-1 road success at Preston which means they now have realistic dreams of the play-offs. The London outfit are 13th but the points them and sixth is down to just six.
At Loftus Road, the Rs have taken seven points from their last three fixtures with victories over Derby and Stoke and a draw with Birmingham. Each of the last three and four of the last five have seen both teams score and gone over 2.5 goals.
Barnsley saw their survival hopes take a hit on the weekend as they suffered a second successive defeat going down 2-0 at home to Cardiff. The Yorkshire outfit are now bottom of the table and seven points from safety.
Away from Oakwell, the Tykes have won two of their last three with victories at Fulham and Hull but have lost four of the last six. Cauley Woodrow will welcome being back on the road as the front man has four in his last four.
A home victory seems the obvious call here and at these prices it looks worth taking given the excellent form QPR are in. The Rs have won four of their last six at all grounds and have beaten decent teams in Preston, Cardiff and Leeds.
The hosts know no other way to play but attack with the last three at this ground producing a total of 13 goals backing a home win and over 2.5 goals in the fixture is a nice way to enhance a little more value out of it.
