PSV Eindhoven have seen thriller draws at Utrecht (2-2) and Heerenveen (2-2) in their last two outings, where only late goals saved the points as they try to build on the gap at the top of Eredivisie table – now sitting four points clear of 2nd placed Ajax after 22 matches played.

Boeren have thus still extended a ten-match unbeaten streak across competitions and we’ll now surely see them very motivated to do so again, despite a tough challenge looming at Philips Stadion. They’ve been furious here since early December and Mark van Bommel should have no troubles lifting their team spirits once again.

Feyenoord have been the last side to beat PSV back in December, where goals from Nicolai Jorgensen and Sam Larsson proved enough to bag all three points in front of the home fans. However, they have struggled for consistency and this has proven costly in their attempt to keep up with the league’s top 2.
