Paris Saint-Germain host Strasbourg for their Coupe de France clash on Wednesday evening looking for their third win in a row and a ticket to the 8th Finals, where they crashed out of Coupe de la Ligue already and obviously come hungry for silverware.

PSG have started the year with a lengthy unbeaten streak behind them but saw it ended by Guingamp (1-2) in a thriller Coupe de la Ligue contest, where they conceded two goals from the spot in the final ten minutes. However, they’ve bounced back quickly with a couple of convincing displays as they beat Amiens (0-3) and took revenge against Guingamp with a 9-0 Ligue 1 win.

Strasbourg, on the other hand, come into the match on the back of a six-match winning streak and will be very motivated for an upset – after holding off PSG in front of the home fans (1-1) earlier this term.

Le Racing have beaten Marseille (on penalties after a 1-1 Coupe de la Ligue draw), Nice (2-0), Lyon (1-2), Toulouse (1-2), Grenoble Foot 38 (0-1), and Monaco (1-5) since mid-December and this surely promises a tough challenge at Parc des Princes too – despite surely being the toughest task for Thierry Laurey and his men yet.

We don’t see them extending their Coupe de France campaign, though, and we’ll now rather stick with PSG to win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 6/5 with PaddyPower. We have seen them turning thrillers their way and we now hope for more of the same in Paris.

With that in mind, it’s easy to make a case for another exciting clash with goals between the sides, as we now back Over 3.5 Goals FT at 4/6 with Betfred. This does feel like buying money for old rope with Parisians convincing in the final third and we’ve seen many big hitters lumping already.
