PSG vs Dijon Match Preview
PSG host Dijon for their Matchday 27 clash on Saturday afternoon, looking to build on a thriller 4-3 win over Bordeaux seen last week and build on their consistency ahead of the Coupe de France trip to Lyon on Wednesday. They have been scoring numbers of goals on the regular and boast great records at this ground, which makes it hard to go for an upset.
Parisians have seen trouble beforehand as they saw a 4-4 draw at Amiens as well as a Champions League loss to Borussia Dortmund (2-1), where the struggles at the back were emphasized just as much. They still bagged 11 wins and a draw in the last 12 outings at Parc des Princes and we feel they shouldn’t have a hard time building on the streak.
Dijon sit just outside the relegation zone thanks to draws against Nantes (3-3), Bordeaux (2-2), and Monaco (1-1) in their last three Ligue 1 outings. They have seen a thrashing Coupe de France loss to PSG (1-6) along the way, though, and we don’t see them doing more in Paris either.
Mustards have been scoring goals quite regularly but felt all over the place on some occasions. They conceded at least a goal on all of their last 11 outings and defensive woes obviously come to the spotlight at this ground, which makes us hoping for a comfortable winning margin once again.
We will thus back PSG to an exciting win and we’ll go for a Home win & Over 3.5 Goals FT at 8/11 with Paddy Power. We’ve seen them score eight goals in their last two home outings and concede five along the way, which promises just as much at this point.
We do hope Dijon will have their say and with the Parisians’ struggles to really keep it together at the back, we’re also going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 4/5 with bet365. We’ve seen goals on both ends in all of the sides’ respective last four outings, which does feel like further evidence.
