Preston made it back-to-back victories at the weekend as they defeated Charlton 1-0 at the Valley to claim a deserved three points. The Lancashire outfit sit second in the table two points and one place behind leaders West Brom.

At Deepdale, the Lilywhites are unbeaten in eight games this season winning five of them and three of them finishing all-square. Each of the last four and six of the last seven here have seen both teams find the back of the net.

Huddersfield picked up all three points at Brentford last time out in a 1-0 victory to make it back-to-back victories and make it seven games unbeaten. It means that the Yorkshire side are out of the bottom three and into 18th place.

Away from the John Smith’s Stadium, the Terriers have picked up seven points from their last three having taken just one from the four prior to that. Karlan Ahearne-Grant has netted in each of his last two and four of his last five on the road.

Both these teams are in good form but it is Preston who are the strong favourites to win this game though they look a little short to be siding with against a Huddersfield side who picked up three points at a Brentford team who were also in good form.

Six of the last seven at Deepdale have seen both teams score and with the visitors carrying a goal threat in Karlan Ahearne-Grant this looks a good bet. In addition, take the Town man to find the back of the net as he does in four of his last five on the road.
