Preston drew 1-1 at Middlesbrough in midweek to make it back-to-back draws and to stretch their unbeaten run to seven league matches. North-End are one of two sides (the other being Fulham) to top the division goalscoring charts with 18 goals.

At Deepdale, the Lilywhites have impressed this season picking up 13 points from a possible 15 on offer with the only game they didn’t win a 3-3 draw against Bristol City. 13 of the 18 goals they have netted this season have come at their own ground.

Barnsley drew 2-2 at home to Derby in midweek to end their three-game losing run though it is still nine without a league victory. The seven goals they have netted gives them the worst-ranked attack in the Championship.

Away from Oakwell, the Tykes have played four times and have lost on three occasions drawing the other one. The Yorkshire outfit have failed to find the back of the net in any of these road trips though have only conceded five times.

This game pits the highest scoring side in the division against the lowest one and it is hard to see past a home victory though the prices offer no value.
