Preston v Norwich Match Preview
A 2-1 success at Bolton last time out stretched it to five unbeaten for Preston who have won three of the last four. Alan Browne continued his scoring form to make it three goals from the last four.
At Deepdale, the Lancashire outfit have drawn each of their last three and are winless in four matches. The goalless draw with Derby last time they played here put to an end a run of eight straight at their place where both teams netted.
Norwich made it back-to-back league victories and moved two points clear at the top with a 3-0 defeat of Ipswich. Teemu Pukki grabbed a brace on that occasion to make it five from his last four matches.
Away from Carrow Road, the East Anglian side are now 13 unbeaten with six of these finishing all-square including three of the last five. They have the third best road attack and second best road defence in the division.
The Canaries are narrow favourites to win this game and given the impressive road form they have shown I would not want to take them on. That being said I would not be looking to oppose a Preston side who are playing well and as such I recommend looking elsewhere for the value.
Sean Maguire at first glance looks short to net at any time here given he has not netted all season but the shot statistics suggest he has to be due a goal soon given how many efforts he has and how often he hits the target. At bigger prices Onel Hernandez showed against Ipswich he knows where the target is and with pace and accuracy he looks the value call here through Teemu Pukki is someone I could not put people off backing.
