Guingamp pulled off a stunning upset at the Parc des Princes recently in the French League Cup, but it’s asking a huge amount for them to also dent PSG’s perfect home record in Ligue 1.

Trailing to a Neymar goal with 10 minutes left on January 9, Guingamp incredibly turned the cup tie around through penalties from former QPR man Yeni Atito Ngbakoto and Marcus Thuram to leave PSG boss Thomas Tuchel furious – and his club unable to complete a fourth French treble in five years.

It was not the first time Guingamp have caused problems for their country’s dominant team in recent years, for they certainly know how to score goals against PSG (see stats above).

But the French champions quickly bounced back from that defeat with a 3-0 success at Amiens and they have won all nine home league matches this term by a 28-3 aggregate, helping to put them 13 points clear at the top of the table with two games in hand.

On the basis that lightning does not strike in the same place twice, PSG are expected to gain revenge on Guingamp and so, with betting value thin on the ground, victory by a comfortable margin will carry our cash.
