Ostersund vs Orebro Match Preview
Ostersund will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 4-0 loss at Hammarby in midweek that stretches their winless run to three. It has been a solid if unspectacular start that has seen win three, draw four and lost two of their opening nine. Six of their nine have gone under 2.5 goals with four producing exactly two goals.
At the Jämtkraft Arena, they have been strong this season with two victories and two draws from four matches. Thomas Poppler-Ishwood has netted two times in front of his own fans in Allsvenskan this season. Four of the last five goals at this ground have come in the first-half with four in the opening 30 minutes.
Orebro are also looking to bounce back from a midweek defeat as they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Norrkoping. It means they have lost three of their last five and taken just eight points from their opening nine games. Each of their last seven have seen both teams find the back of the net with five of them going over 2.5.
Away from the Behrn Arena, they have a mixed record with one victory, one draw and two defeats with the victory coming on their last road trip. Jake Larsson has three from his last two on his travels while Carlos Strandberg has two in three. All five they scored away this season have come in the final 25 minutes of the game.
The prices on the match markets are hard to argue with as you have a decent home team against a side struggling on the road. Orebro did manage a victory here so they can not be ignored and for that reason, we would look at other markets.
Ostersund are fast starters and have netted a goal in the opening 45 minutes in three of their four fixtures so backing them to be ahead at half-time appeals. Orebro are the opposite and tend to come into games late with all five scored away this season coming in the final 25 minutes so it makes sense to take them to win the second-half.
