Orlando City vs LA Galaxy Match Preview
LA Galaxy travel to Orlando for their Saturday’s clash amid a very troubled spell of form, where they saw four consecutive losses since early May and will now be without their star man up front Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who earned a two-match suspension after a clash with New York City’s goalkeeper Sean Johnson.
Galaxy failed to find the net in any of their last two outings either and the Monday’s 0-1 home loss to Colorado will surely be even more worrying, as Guillermo Schelotto struggles to find a cure even against lowly Rapids. They’ve been conceding numbers of goals away from home and it’s fair to say the rivals have a lot to build on there.
Indeed, Orlando come into the match on the back of a thrashing 5-1 win over Cincinnati, where they’ve shown off their character and managed another return to the winning ways in front of the home crowd. While this ended a streak of three consecutive losses, it was also another episode in a successful streak at Orlando City Stadium.
Lions thus bagged their third win in four home outings and will now want to challenge the Eastern Conference top 7, sitting just two points behind 6th placed New York Red Bulls and 7th placed Toronto.
We do feel they have what it takes and we’ll now back Orlando to secure the points, as we go for a Home win at 10/11 with bet365. We’ve gotten used to better display here and we now hope for more of the same.
We’ve seen LA Galaxy struggling to perform in the final third and this also has us sticking our necks out for a No on Both teams to score, which comes at 6/4 with William Hill and looks like more than just a lively longshot – especially for those keeping faith Orlando can shut them down too.
