Nottingham Forest vs QPR Match Preview
Nottingham Forest picked up a point last weekend away at West Brom twice coming from behind to claim the draw. The East Midlands side are in fifth spot and need to find some consistency having two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six.
At the City Ground, the Tricky Trees loss at home to Charlton last time out here saw their five-game unbeaten home run come to an end. Lewis Grabban is performing well at this ground with four goals in his last five.
QPR ended a four-game winless run last weekend with an impressive 4-2 home success over struggling Stoke. The London outfit were good value for their victory which seemed unlikely when they found themselves two down after 31 minues.
Away from Loftus Road, the Rs are winless in their last six Championship games with five of these ending in defeat. A lack of road goals has been an issue of late with blanks in three of their last five and just two combined from these.
Bookmakers make the hosts favourites and rightfully so but a flat performance last time out here against Charlton would serve as warning to anyone wanting to side with them. QPR were excellent for the last hour against Stoke but prior to that were poor and had been poor for weeks so they do not look like a side you can trust. It is better to look at markets other than the 90 minute match betting.
Around 70% of the goals the hosts have scored have come after the break while it is 60% for the visitors who are built to hit teams on the break. Forest will know they need all three points here so might be forced to come out leading to an open second 45 minutes. Back the period after the interval to have the most goals and a smaller interest on both teams to net.
