Norwich City vs Bristol City Match Preview
Norwich moved back top of the Championship with a comfortable 4-0 victory over Bolton last weekend to make three wins from four. Teemu Pukki grabbed a brace ( his 22nd and 23rd of the season) while Marco Stiepermann and Emilano Buendia netted one each to complete the rout.
At Carrow Road, the Canaries have won two and drawn one of their last three and have lost just one of their last ten in the league. They have both the third highest ranked home attack and the third lowest ranked home defence.
Bristol City were in FA Cup action last weekend (losing 1-0 at home to Wolves) and last played in the Championship on the 12th where they beat QPR 2-1. It marked a seventh straight victory and stretched their unbeaten record to 13.
Away from Ashton Gate, the Robins are unbeaten in their last six winning each of their last three. Their defence is in excellent form having kept clean sheets in their last three on the road and conceded just one in the last five.
Bristol City look a good price here along with the draw in the double chance market considering their recent form. They have won seven straight are unbeaten in 13 and this includes a 2-2 home draw with Norwich at Ashton Gate just a few months back. The home side are a good team but City will not allow them to play in the way that Bolton did and look set to follow a template that served Preston well recently.
I also like the goalscoring chances of Famara Diedhiou as he has three in his last six and two in his last three on his travels. The hosts have tightened up at the back recently but still allow plenty of opportunities and Diedhiou netted in the reverse fixture.
