Norway host Faroe Islands for their Matchday 9 clash on Friday sitting 4th in Group F and hoping for slip-ups from 2nd placed Sweden and 3rd placed Romania late in the EURO 2020 Qualifiers campaign, as they surely go all-out for the points at Ullevaal Stadium.

Lions have seen three consecutive draws since September, as they held off Sweden (1-1), Spain (1-1), and Romania (1-1) and proved their character with a couple of very late goals. Still, this was hardly enough and few believe Lars Lagerback’s men can make it –despite a very lenient schedule and above mentioned rivals having a head-to-head clash.

Faroe Islands have, on the other hand, finally earned their first points as they beat Malta (1-0) last time out and we’ve thus seen them end a streak of eight losses! They’ve been conceding numbers of goals on the regular and while they shut down Malta in October, it’s now hard to see them put on a similar challenge in Oslo.

Landslidid have struggled to score goals just as much and the trip to Spain (4-0) emphasized such woes, despite finding the net in Malta (2-1) and Romania (4-1) beforehand. They hardly have anything to play for at this point, though, and we don’t see them showing off either.

We will thus back Norway to a comfortable win in front of the home fans and go for them to win with Asian Handicap -2.5 at 33/40 with bet365, which has caught the eye of many in the know seeing Faroe Islands’ performances on the road.
