New England Revolution vs Los Angeles FC Match Preview
After largely picking it up through July and bagging five wins and a draw in their last six outings, where they beat Vancouver Whitecaps (4-0), Cincinnati (0-2), and Orlando City (4-1) over the past two weeks, New England Revolution host Los Angeles FC in great shape and a lot to build on.
Revs have been scoring numbers of goals on the regular and they’ll surely be very motivated to hold off the Western Conference pace-setters, having done so at Banc of California Stadium last year already. They’ve been conceding goals regularly too but had no worries for it lately, outgunning rivals to important points.
Los Angeles FC have, on the other hand, struggled to keep hold of their consistency and we’ve seen them suffer three losses in their last seven outings across competitions, including a 0-1 US Open Cup loss to Timbers and a thriller 3-2 loss to LA Galaxy in MLS since mid-July.
They’ve outgunned Atlanta United (4-3) in a seven-goal thriller and LAFC will hope for a similar upset now, seeing the rivals boast no greater stability at the back now. Still, they’ve conceded a high total of six goals in their last two outings and have a lot to prove at Gillette Stadium.
We’ll now back New England to hold off the Western Conference pace-setters and go for a Draw, which comes at 11/4 with William Hill and looks like more than just a lively longshot at this point.
We do expect goals and with that in mind, going for an exciting game with a Yes on Both teams to score feels like a real banker bet at 2/5 with bet365 as we see both sides enjoying really exciting games with lots of goals recently.
