Napoli’s season now essentially revolves around the Europa League, but their home form indicates they should not be opposed in this Serie A test.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are highly unlikely to finish anywhere other than second in the Italian top flight for a third season out of four because they are in splendid isolation, going into the weekend 11 points behind leaders Juventus and nine clear of third-placed Inter Milan.

They are out of the Coppa Italia and so the only trophy the Partenopei have any chance of lifting is the Europa League, in which they played their first match of the knockout stage away to FC Zurich on Thursday (result not known at the time of writing).

The stats above outline Napoli’s impressive domestic home record over the last 11 months and we do not think it will come under threat against Torino.

That is despite the Maroons having lost only once away from home this term, to Roma, but they have also tasted victory just twice and drawn nine out of 12 on the road, which suggests they could make life awkward for Napoli.
