Napoli vs Lazio Match Preview
Lazio have finished the year in Serie A top 4 and they’ve started the year with confidence too, as they travel to Napoli for their Matchday 20 clash on the back of a 4-1 win over Novara – where a convincing first half proved enough to outclass the Serie C rivals with goals from Luis Alberto, Ciro Immobile (x2), and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Biancocelesti have Milan, Roma, Sampdoria, and Atalanta all breathing down their necks midway through the campaign and we feel Simone Inzaghi should have no troubles lifting their team spirits, as his men regularly score goals and find ways to make it count more recently.
Napoli will be no easy targets, though, and although they sit nine points behind pace-setters Juventus – Carlo Ancelotti’s men are still the prime chasers and we’ll surely see them motivated to show off such a character in a derby clash on Sunday evening too.
Partenopei have beaten Sassuolo (2-0) last week and bagged their fourth win in five outings across competitions, only seeing a narrow 1-0 loss at Inter along the way. They’ve been furious in the final third especially at this ground and Lazio will have to cope in that sense we feel, if they’re to snatch any points.
We don’t see the visitors doing so, though, and we’ll now rather stick with a Home win at 10/11 with Coral. Napoli have been in fine form and backing them to capitalize on the home turf in search of their fifth consecutive win in head-to-head clashes seems like great value.
Still, we should be in for a thrilling clash and with hope we’ll see goals between the sides again, we’re backing Over 2.5 Goals FT at 5/6 with BetVictor. We have seen three or more goals in all of the last four matchups and this feels like further evidence for such a bet.
