Napoli vs Arsenal Match Preview

Arsenal travel to Naples for the return match of their Europa League clash just days after their trip to Watford with a two-goal advantage after a 2-0 win in the first leg, hoping to build on a successful evening at Emirates with goals from Aaron Ramsey and Kalidou Koulibaly (OG).

Gunners have struggled for consistency on the road and this will come off as more of a worry for Unai Emery, where they saw losses to BATE (1-0), Rennes (3-1), and Everton in four outings since mid-February and only holding Tottenham to a 1-1 draw along the way. They’ve still been tough to score against and will hope to show off in Italy as well, promising a strong challenge.

Napoli have, on the other hand, returned to the winning ways after a three-match winless streak with a 1-3 win at Chievo. They’ve seen troubles on the road in a 2-1 loss at Empoli beforehand and just a 1-1 draw against Genoa in front of the home fans, struggling to create chances and convert them – which was just as obvious in London last week.

Indeed, all that Partenopei’s ace Lorenzo Insigne did at Emirates was from offside rulings, with no real threats made. However, we should see them in better shape at San Paolo with much more to build on after suffering just one home loss (1-2 to Juventus) in over a year.

We will still back Arsenal to build on a rock-solid display in the first leg and leave Naples unbeaten, as we stick with a Double Chance – Draw or Away win at 21/20 with bet365 in belief the visitors will be able to make their way to the semi-finals here.

However, we do feel they’ll need to cope in the final third to do such a thing and with that in mind, we’re now also going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 4/7 with bet365.
