Borussia Dortmund travel to Monchengladbach in great shape after extending a four-match winning streak across competitions, hoping to build on the performances we’ve seen since mid-February and keep up with Bundesliga pace-setters Bayern Munich – who sit four points in the clear at this point.

BVB beat Freiburg (1-0) with a single goal from Jadon Sancho last week, building on important wins over Werder Bremen (0-2) and PSG (2-1) in Champions League. They have a tough schedule on their hands through March and early April too, which will make retaining consistency here all the more important.

Borussia Monchengladbach haven’t felt as convincing as they would have wanted early in 2020 but still managed a five-match unbeaten streak since late January, holding off RB Leipzig (2-2) and Hoffenheim (1-1), while beating struggling Mainz (3-1), Fortuna Dusseldorf (1-4), and Augsburg (2-3) with some great displays up front.
