Monaco have seen their struggles continue as they were held off by rock-bottomed Guingamp (1-1) last week and only have a last-minute equalizer from Stevan Jovetic to thank for the point earned at Stade du Roudourou. They now host Reims hoping to show more in an attempt to build on the gap to the relegation zone, which now stands at seven points.

Les Monegasques have seen Caen (0-1) snatch all three points here beforehand and Leonardo Jardim will be desperate for a cure for their goalscoring woes, as Radamel Falcao sits out with an injury. They’ll obviously need more late in the campaign as ‘January revolution’ just doesn’t seem enough at this point.

Reims have, on the other end, seen struggles for consistency of their own but still sit just three points behind the 4th placed Saint-Etienne. They’ve held Lille to a 1-1 draw in front of the home crowd last week and this should give David Guion and his men a lot to build on despite more troubles seen on the road.

The visitors have indeed seen a thrashing 4-0 loss at Strasbourg and confirmed their very unpredictable spell of form away from home, as this was their second defeat in six trips – with two wins and two draws also on the records.
