PSG secured the top spot in Champions League Group A with a late comeback and a 2-2 draw at Real Madrid midway through the week and they travel to Monaco for their Matchday 15 Ligue 1 clash in great spirits despite seeing a three-match winning streak ended in a thrilling contest.

Parisians haven’t been as impressive as the fans would have hoped but they still have a lot to be happy about, which will be a great boost to their confidence. They beat Club Brugge (1-0), Brest (1-2), and Lille (2-0) in three rather narrow clashes beforehand too, as Thomas Tuchel hopes his men can now build on the performances.

However, Monaco could be the toughest challenge yet despite their struggles to perform away from home. They come into the match with a 2-1 loss at Bordeaux behind them, failing to join the top 4 chase once again as Leonardo Jardim saw their defensive struggles costly once again.

Les Monegasques have been much more confident at Stade Louis II and they’ll want to show it off, looking for their sixth win in a row after beating Nice (3-1), Brest (4-1), Rennes (3-2), Marseille (2-1), and Dijon (1-0) since September. They’ve been scoring and conceding goals on the regular and this promises another exciting clash now.
