Monaco beat Angers (1-0) in early February and built on the success with a late comeback and all three points at Amiens (1-2), where Wissam Ben Yedder and Islam Slimani both found the net with just minute left on the clock. They now hope to build on the success and keep track of the top 4, now sitting just five behind Lille.

Monegasques have struggled for consistency through most part of the campaign and they only ended a streak of three losses. Robert Moreno will now be desperate to build on the consistency and we expect his men very motivated to do so, despite more of a challenge looming at Louis II Stadium now.

Montpellier come into the match on the back of a narrow 1-0 win over St Etienne but they have struggled to impress in the final third, where Belfort knocked them out of Coupe de France on penalties after a goalless draw, PSG outclassed them in a 5-0 win, and they only shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw against Metz since late January.

La Paillade failed to find the net in three of the last five trips and this could be even more worrying along with just two wins in 14 away games since early January. Top 3 still feels well within their reach but making it happen could prove a tough task if they can’t retain consistency on the road.

We don’t see them doing so just yet and we’ll now rather stick with Monaco to secure all three points, going for a Home win at 4/5 with BetVictor – which feels like the best approach to the fixture on Friday evening.

We have seen them solid at the back lately and we’re now hoping for another such occasion, as we go for Under 2.5 Goals FT at 10/11 with bet365. We have seen three of Montpellier’s last four games end that way, which does feel like further evidence for such a bet.
