MK Dons vs Ipswich Match Preview
MK Dons beat Blackpool (0-3) over the weekend to extend a three-match winning streak, as they now host Ipswich for their Matchday 9 clash in great shape and hoping to close the four-point gap to the top of League One table. They’ve been scoring goals but have a lot to prove at Stadium MK and we feel Paul Tisdale should have no troubles motivating his men.
Dons have beaten Stevenage (0-3) and AFC Wimbledon (2-1) in two September outings beforehand and only slipped up against Peterborough in front of the home fans, as Maddison, Toney, and Mohamed Eisa’s goals brought the visitors a comfortable win in the first half already.
Ipswich will now hope for a similar upset and all three points at Stadium MK, with a six-match unbeaten streak connected since the League Cup exit in the hands of Luton (3-1). They’ve been scoring numbers of away goals along the way and we expect them enjoying an attacking approach here as well.
Tractor Boys have been conceding too and the goalless draw against Doncaster on Saturday surely comes as an unconventional contest on their end lately. They’ve also seen it end a streak of four wins in a row and recuperating quickly will be an important task for Paul Lambert and his men.
We do feel they’ll be able to shake it off but we’ll still back the visitors to snatch a point in a Draw priced at 12/5 with Ladbrokes, which has caught a lot of attention with both sides coming in great shape and just as motivated to keep it up.
We thus expect goals and we’re going for a thriller contest as we back a Yes on Both teams to score at 4/6 with William Hill. We’ve seen both scoring and conceding on the regular and we feel this is a banker bet at this point.
