Minnesota United vs Houston Dynamo Match Preview
Minnesota United host Houston Dynamo for their Sunday’s clash in good spirits after returning to the winning ways with another solid display at Allianz Field, where they bounced from a 2-0 loss at Chicago Fire but extended a five-match unbeaten streak here which sees them 5th placed on Western Conference table.
Loons have beaten DC United (1-0) and held Seattle Sounders (1-1) in two outings here since late April and we’ve seen them very tough to score against, with just two goals conceded in last four outings too. They will now want to keep it up and we expect them very motivated despite a tough challenge.
Houston Dynamo come into the match on the back of an important home win over DC United (2-1), where quick-fire goals from Rodríguez and McNamara completed a comeback and secured all three points. They have seen more woes on the road, though, and this will surely be more worrying for Wilmer Cabrera.
Orange Crush have thus seen losses to LA Galaxy (2-1) and Seattle Sounders (1-0) on their last two trips and obviously struggled to keep their consistency in the final third, which could as well be a problem for the visitors as they look to catch up with pace-setters Los Angeles FC.
We don’t see them closing the gap to the top of the Western Conference on the day and we’ll now rather back Minnesota United to secure all three points in a Home win priced at 23/20 with bet365.
We have seen them rock-solid at home ground so far and we now hope to see more of the same, as they capitalize on Houston’s troubles to impress up front. We thus also go for a low-scoring contest and Under 2.5 Goals FT, which comes at 5/4 with Paddy Power and has caught the eye of many.
