AC Milan host Napoli for their Matchday 21 Serie A clash on Saturday, just days ahead of their Coppa Italia contest, as they look to prove their worth and build on the top 4 spot – after snatching it back from Lazio in a thriller chase with a 0-2 win at Genoa now behind them.
Rossoneri have thus bagged three wins in their four outings across competitions since late in December and with just a narrow 1-0 loss to Juventus seen along the way, we feel they’ll be very motivated to build on the streak at quite possibly a crucial time in their campaign.
Napoli have, on the other hand, seen a series of games in front of the home fans as they beat Bologna (3-2), Sassuolo (2-0), and Lazio (2-1) – making their way to the Coppa Italia Quarter-finals and keeping the gap to Serie A pace-setters Juventus to nine points.
Partenopei have seen more troubles on the road, though, and this could be worrying for Carlo Ancelotti ahead of an emotional trip to Giuseppe Meazza, where his men saw losses to Liverpool (1-0) and Inter (1-0) since early December and only beat Cagliari (0-1) with a last-gasp goal from Arkadiusz Milik.
