Middlesbrough vs Millwall Match Preview
Middlesbrough secured their first win and their fourth point of the season on Tuesday night with a 1-0 home victory Wigan. It was the third successive game for the Teesiders to end in this scoreline having lost the previous two 1-0.
At the Riverside, Boro have won one and lost one though if you add in the last campaign they have won four of their last five. Including last season six of their previous seven here have gone under 1.5 goals and not since March 10 2018 have they seen more than three.
Millwall saw their unbeaten start to the Championship campaign come crashing to an end in midweek as they went down 4-0 at Fulham. It was an unexpected goal fest as their previous three had produced a total of just four goals.
Away from the Den, the Lions have won one drawn one this season picking up a point at West Brom to go with the loss at Fulham. It is now six without a road success in the Championship and just one from their last nine.
It is hard to get excited on the prices on a Middlesbrough home win given they have won just once this season though a hammering in midweek for Millwall means I would not want to be taking them on with the London outfit. A better angle of attack is to take this game to be a tight one with a half-time draw the main bet and a smaller interest on the game to be level after 60 minutes.
