Manchester United vs West Ham United Fansbet Preview
It’s now four defeats from five matches for United and with their next four fixtures after this clash against Barcelona (A), Everton (A), Man City (H) and Chelsea (H), so it’s important to get a win and alleviate some of the building pressure before the situation gets out of hand.
Indeed, the Red Devils are now on the outside looking in with regards to a top-four spot, down in sixth place in the table, though Arsenal’s defeat at Everton last weekend has at least kept that window of opportunity open for them.

Manchester United vs West Ham United Match Preview
West Ham’s form on their travels is dreadful in 2019 as they head to Old Trafford seeking a first away victory against Manchester United for 12 years.
Since they won at Southampton just after Christmas, the Hammers have gained just a solitary point on the road against Crystal Palace and among their seven defeats was an FA Cup exit to League One relegation battlers AFC Wimbledon – whom they had beaten 3-1 on the same pitch in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season!
Those results illustrate just how West Ham’s away results have gone downhill, for all that they put in a fairly spirited second-half showing when losing 2-0 at Chelsea on Monday.
This is being written before Manchester United’s Champions League match at home to Barcelona on Wednesday, but what will not change as a result of that test is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains unbeaten at Old Trafford domestically as the Red Devils’ manager.
However, apart from the Norwegian’s first couple of victories the home performances have been pretty unconvincing.
This is usually an awkward assignment against the Hammers, but it is difficult to make a case for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and so Manchester United should just about get away with it as they aim to put the pressure on the other top-four contenders.
