Manchester United vs Paris Saint-Germain Fansbet Preview
Unbeaten in 11 games, home advantage in the first leg of their last 16 Champions League clash with PSG and no Cavani or Neymar for the French champions, Manchester United must be wondering who is writing their scripts at the moment
The build-up for this clash hasn’t been ideal for the Parisians as they lost for the first time in the league at Lyon last weekend, before requiring extra-time to down third-tier outfit Villefranche in the Coupe de France.

Although PSG dominate domestically, their win percentage in the absence of Neymar since the Brazilian signed for the club still takes a massive hit when looking at Ligue 1 fixtures.
In fact, they’ve won 30 of 33 where he’s started compared to just 18 of 27 when he hasn’t, while it isn’t just a case of dropping two points by picking up draws, with their one defeat in 33 matches he’s started comparing favourably to the three in 27 without him.

Manchester United vs Paris Saint-Germain Match Preview
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces his biggest test yet as Manchester United’s interim manager against a Paris Saint-Germain side desperate to improve their disappointing Champions League record.
Solskjaer has made a roaring success of his first two months in temporary – at least – charge of the Red Devils, winning nine out of 10 games and drawing the other before Saturday’s trip to Fulham (result not known at the time of writing).
The popular Norwegian engineered victories away to Tottenham and Arsenal, but European football is a different kettle of fish and PSG are right up there among the most difficult opponents United could have been drawn against in the round-of-16.
The French champions and runaway Ligue 1 leaders are without injured Neymar for this tie, but the presence of Kylian Mbappe alone would be enough to scare most teams.
Add in Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria, who will be eager to impress after one poor year with United, and there is plenty to worry a home defence which Solskjaer has admittedly improved since the disastrous last few weeks of Jose Mourinho’s reign.
Is this the year when PSG finally reach the semi-finals or even go all the way? They have not achieved anything like the success in Europe they would have wanted so far, especially considering their huge outlay on players, and the pressure is on manager Thomas Tuchel to deliver the goods on the continent.
This is a tricky match in which to predict the outcome, but that PSG attack should be relishing taking on a United defence which has its weaknesses, especially at right-back, and the visitors are backed to make themselves even stronger favourites to advance from the tie.
