Manchester United vs Liverpool Fansbet Preview
Much has changed at Manchester United since they were thrashed 3-1 by Liverpool in mid-December! In fact, it was this result that brought about the changes with Mourinho getting the boot and Solsjaer coming in, the Norwegian subsequently guiding them to just the one loss in his first 13-games. There might still be 14-points separating the two teams, however this United team will believe they can narrow that gap by a further three at Old Trafford, come the final whistle on Sunday. For Liverpool this is a must win game if they want to keep the heat on Manchester City and not let their title challenge fade.

Manchester United vs Liverpool Redarmybet Preview
“A defeat against PSG is disappointing but progress in Europe should be an aim for next season rather than this term, with a battle for a top-four spot and potential silverware in the FA Cup our core priorities at the moment.
A run of 11 wins from 12 unbeaten matches domestically should worry Liverpool, who haven’t been at their best of late. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp’s outfit are just W3-D3-L2 over their last eight fixtures across all competitions, including three stalemates in their last four (which could easily have been four in five if not for a frantic finale hosting Palace at Anfield).”

“The Red Devils dispensed with Jose Mourinho immediately after that defeat and have since been reborn under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, back inside the top four and unbeaten in the league since the Norwegian’s arrival.
Liverpool will not fear this new-look United, however. The Reds are joint-top of the table and will be intent upon picking up three points at the Theatre of Dreams to keep their quest for a first league title in 29 years on track.”

Manchester United vs Liverpool Match Preview
It’s been a tale of two seasons almost for Manchester United in 2018/2019. Under Jose Mourinho the Red Devils continued to struggle to live up to expectations in the early stages of the campaign and as a result, it came as little surprise when the Portuguese boss was sacked following defeat to Liverpool in the reverse of this fixture at Anfield. What has come as surprise however is how well his temporary replacement, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has done in his absence.
The former Old Trafford favourite took the managerial reins on til the end of the season following Mourinho’s departure and has so far led his side to 11 wins in 13 games, including away victories over the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur and he’s yet to lose a match to domestic opposition. Given the strength of his feeling for the club you have to imagine the Norwegian will be desperate to upset the odds and put a dent in Liverpool’s title aspirations here at 5/2 with Bet365.
Liverpool are looking to end their long wait for a Premier League trophy this season. The Reds have been at the top of the tree for the majority of the campaign but currently find themselves behind Manchester City on goal difference with one game in hand. Since the Citizens aren’t in league action this weekend as they take on Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final, this weekend provides the perfect opportunity for the Merseyside club to seize the initiative in a pulsating title race.
Recent form away from home has been a little shaky for the Reds though. Jurgen Klopp’s men have won just one of their last four on the road, drawing at West Ham and losing to Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers and after a taxing goalless draw with Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash on Wednesday night this will prove a tough test for Liverpool but the bookies fancy them to come through unscathed with three points at 13/10 with William Hill.
It’s tough to call a winner in this game. Although Liverpool have undoubtedly been the better team this season, Manchester United do look like a different animal under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and they’ll be desperate to prevent their rivals from stealing a march in the title race here. Four of the last six meetings between these two great rivals have ended level at full-time and that’s why we’re backing another draw here at 2/1 with Paddy Power.
We are however, expecting goals. Manchester United have shown more attacking intent since Solskjaer’s appointment and even without Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard, the likes of Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku will always be a threat in front of goal. The visitors however can rely upon the evergreen threat of their attacking trident of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. Both teams to score is available at 4/6 with William Hill.
