The League Two club triumphed in penalty shootouts after 0-0 draws against both of their previous Premier League opponents on their way to the last eight of this competition for only the second time, the first occasion being way back in 1975 when they lost to Aston Villa.
John McGreal’s side, along with Oxford United, are the surprise packages this season and balancing this cup run with their efforts to be promoted from the fourth tier of English football, in which they are competing for the third consecutive campaign.
