Manchester United vs Barcelona Fansbet Preview
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will impress on his team that they need to take advantage of the fact they face Barcelona in their Champions League quarterfinal first leg clash at Old Trafford. Keeping a clean sheet against the likes of Messi and Suarez will be a tough ask for the defensive unit, however the newly appointed manager knows better than anyone about upsets in big European nights.

Manchester United vs Barcelona Match Preview
These clubs did not meet competitively until 1984, but they have made up for lost time with a series of pulsating encounters and another sizzler should ensue at Old Trafford.
When Manchester United go head-to-head with Barcelona it is always an exhilarating occasion and two of the English club’s most famous European home nights have been against these opponents – the stunning comeback from 2-0 down in 1984 and Paul Scholes’ screamer that sent the Red Devils into the 2008 Champions League final which they won in Moscow.
United will be buoyed by the fact they have never lost at home to Barca and will feel anything is possible after their incredible recovery away to Paris Saint-Germain in the previous round, when they came through despite being decimated by injuries.
But they were undone by Lionel Messi in the 2009 and 2011 finals, the Argentine maestro scoring in each, and there is no question Barcelona are hot favourites to reach the semi-finals against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side who have lost three of their last four games.
Barcelona, however, conceded four goals in their latest away fixture when last-gasp contributions from Messi and Luis Suarez salvaged a draw at Villarreal.
Romantics will say this tie is set up for more Solskjaer heroics in the Nou Camp, scene of the Norwegian’s unforgettable 1999 goal that sealed United’s Treble, but first they must get through the home leg and if United can head to Spain level they will surely be pretty happy.
