Manchester United vs Cardiff Match Preview
Manchester United host Cardiff for their Sunday’s clash in search of points which could make the difference if Arsenal slip up at Burnley, as they lost their chances to make it to the Champions League but could make a spot in Europa League group stages.
While this has obviously not had a great impact on their team spirits, Red Devils will hope they can produce against already relegated Cardiff and finally end their five-match winless streak – including draws against Chelsea (1-1 at home) and Huddersfield (1-1) on the road.
Cardiff, on the other hand, sit five points behind 17th placed Brighton and we’ve seen them struggling for points through most part of the campaign. The 0-2 upset at Brighton was a great sign late in the campaign but they failed to capitalize, seeing three consecutive losses since then.
Bluebirds have thus seen Liverpool (0-2), Fulham (1-0), and Crystal Palace (2-3) all deny them important points and Neil Warnock’s men will soon have to get used to life in Championship once again – surely looking to say their farewell in a positive light at Old Trafford.
