Kasimpasa picked it up mainly thanks to performances in front of the home fans and they sit a point clear of the relegation zone as they travel to similarly struggling Malatyaspor on Saturday, looking to build on a four-match unbeaten streak and escape the immediate danger zone with an upset at Yeni Malatya Stadium.

Apaches beat Denizlispor (2-0), Kayserispor (5-1), and Goztepe (2-0) at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium and snatched a point at Konyaspor (0-0) along the way, which was their only second in five away games this year. They have still been scoring goals on the regular and Fuat Capa will have ground to build on.

Malatyaspor, on the other hand, sit outside the relegation zone only for their goal difference after seeing seven losses in their last eight outings and only holding off Konyaspor (1-1) at this ground in the process. They will need more if they’re to secure top-flight survival and Hikmet Karaman will have to find fixes quick.

Tigers of the East saw quite comfortable losses to Trabzonspor (1-3) and Kayserispor (2-1) despite finding the net on both occasions last week, as they find it hard to capitalize on goals scored with defensive slip-ups we’ve seen. They last kept a clean sheet back in December and a lot could depend on their defensive setup towards late in the campaign.
