Caen sit 18th placed in a thriller chase for the top-flight survival joined by three more sides, boasting great team spirits of recent as they travel to Groupama Stadium for their Matchday 37 clash on the back of a four-match unbeaten streak since mid-April.
SMC have beaten Nice (0-1), Dijon (1-0), Reims (3-2), and held Guingamp to a goalless draw along the way, which promises them in a great mood as they look to build on the success despite some very narrow clashes seen along the way. They have a lot more to play for now and we feel it will be obvious in Decines-Charpieu.
Lyon have kept up a similar streak of recent and bagged three wins in their last four outings but a thriller 2-2 draw against Lille along the way meant they failed to close the gap to the 2nd placed rivals, now sitting six points behind with a 14-goal minus in goal difference between them.
Les Gones have beaten Angers (2-1), Bordeaux (2-3), and Marseille (0-3) along the way as they prove their worth in the final third, despite conceding on the regular too. They will now want more with 3rd spot still in question and we do hope for a solid challenge.
However, we feel Caen have a lot more to play for and we’ll now stick our necks out for them to build on some fine performances of recent with an upset at Groupama Stadium, as we go for a Double Chance – Draw or Away win at 7/2 with bet365.
