Lyon host Caen for their Coupe de France Quarter-finals clash on Wednesday after losing on their consistency with a busy and tough schedule, where they saw their second loss in four outings on trip to Monaco (2-0) – struggling to score goals on the road and seeing it costly.

Les Gones have been more convincing in front of the home fans, though, and Bruno Genesio will now want his men to show off once again. They’ll be desperate to lift their team spirits ahead of the next week’s Champions League trip to Barcelona after holding the Spanish rivals to a goalless draw here, which promises a very strong challenge at Groupama Stadium.

Caen come into the match with similar struggles for consistency where the Cup success comes as they only bright spot recently. They’ve earned two points in last four league outings, beaten by Amiens (1-0) and Nantes (0-1) and held off by Strasbourg (0-0) and Toulouse (1-1) more recently.
