Liechtenstein vs Finland Match Preview
Finland have shocked Bosnia-Herzegovina (2-0) in front of the home fans and now travel to Liechtenstein hoping for less of a challenge as they sit 2nd placed with six points to their name, having seen a 2-0 loss in Italy on the opening day of the campaign and a 0-2 win in Armenia in March too.
Huuhkajat have thus proven themselves a very tough nut to crack at the back and in-form Teemu Pukki led the attacking line with a brace against Bosnia-Herzegovina, which should have them very confident in search of points at Rheinpark Stadion too.
Liechtenstein have, on the other hand, seen three losses in EURO 2020 Qualifiers already and putting the disappointing Nations League campaign behind them comes off as a tough task already – as they sit rock-bottomed in Group J with no points to their name.
Indeed, Helgi Kolvidsson’s men struggled to cope and we’ve seen them fail to find the net in any of the three outings, where Greece (0-2), Italy (6-0), and Armenia (3-0) all secured the points with confidence. They’ll now hope to put on more of a challenge but we don’t see them making it happen.
We will thus stick with the heavy favourites Finland and back them to secure all three points, as we go for an Away win to Nil at 4/7 with Ladbrokes. We’ve seen Finland rock-solid and we now hope to see more of the same.
However, we don’t see them smooth sailing to bag them and we now hope for a rather narrow contest, where Under 2.5 Goals FT looks great value for those hoping we’ll see a win to Nil and comes at 21/20 with Unibet – as Finland’s 13th such occasion in 14 outings.
